I try to live my life without regrets, but if I’m to be completely honest with myself, I do wish I could have a do over or two.
I’d love to go back and tell that skinny, long-legged creature, forged in the land of track Gods, not to get off the track!
Oh how I used to destroy the track!
Who knows where life would have taken me? Everything from my youth has molded me into the adult I’ve become, so I try not to dwell. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that if and when the time comes for me to have my own “youths”, I’ll empower them to be independent and self-aware. All we want for our children is for them to be better than we are.
Live long and prosper my youths!
